If yes, I would probably put it into my RRSP. Boring, but otherwise you lose half of it. I'd allocate $1500 of it as my HBP repayment for the year.
If not, I'd pay off my line of credit ($3000), get air conditioning for the house (~$2500), and get that home theater I've been considering for the last four years ($1000-1500 for the projector, screen, and audio). The rest would be invested.
I would put a large chunk into my RRSP, pay off my line of credit and as much of my OSAP as possible but still keep enough to be able to go shopping and indulge myself a little bit.
Personally... Pay off any credit card/line of credit/student debt, if any, then invest 2/3 of the remainder and have fun with the rest. Or if you're in the market to buy a house, then use all of it towards a downpayment.

I've recently come into some money - it'll be used as a down payment for a house.

Interesting use - a nice mix between blowing it all and being money-conscience.

Although I like the idea of guilt free spending.

As for what fun, I'll leave that for you but I would do what Clumsy suggested and travel. To Africa.
But seriously - I want to say blow it, have fun with it.
But actually - I would personally probably tuck a good chunk of it away.
